Story

As many of you are aware I have been fundraising this year to give something back to the wonderful hospice that looked after my daddy at the end of his life. My dad, Alan Desborough, was and remains my absolute hero and in honour of his fabulousness I want to raise as much money as possible.

Cransley hospice is a small hospice located in Kettering. In this hospice Dad was given the care and support that he needed to come to terms with his terminal illness and the specialised nurses made sure he was comfortable and pain free. We had a fabulous family party at the hospice which will forever remain in my memory as a happy occasion.

As a family we have completed the Santa Saunter, run though a load of bubbles and I have also been making lots and lots of lovely cakes for people to raise money. I am now taking on a bit of a challenge by abseiling down the Northampton Lift tower which is very very high up (418ft) I haven't abseiled since my youth and its going to be a challenge that I am very much looking forward to (if not a little scared) So please give as much as you can towards this brilliant charity.

Thank you very much you lovely lot,
