Cakes for Cransley

Story

In November 2018 my precious father, Alan Desborough, lost his battle to cancer. He was an amazing and devoted family man who was loved by many. He spent the last 5 weeks of his life in Cransley Hospice in Kettering.

Cransley Hospice is such an amazing place. The staff are all absolutely amazing and gave us the opportunity to spend as much time as possible with our father and husband. The last days were spent with not only a large amount of tears but with laughter, love, happiness and even a family party!

So in honour of my father and as a thank you for everything the hospice did for our family, which helped to create lasting memories of the last few weeks we spent with dad, I am going to raise some money for the hospice.

As many of you will be aware, I have been making cakes for a number of years - from family celebration cakes to wedding cakes and cake sales at work. So this year, instead of paying me, I would ask instead for donations for all the cakes that I make for family and friends.

So please give generously, thank you so much.
